Hey, don't get rid of this show. It shows just how far America has come in accepting people who are different.

I first started watching this show when I was 15, and this show means so much to me. I've gone through a lot in my life, and well as corny as this may sound; South of Nowhere has been that one place that has always been there. I knew that something like this would happen one day, and it's sad that it had to happen now. I saw this show when it started (and one of the first few memebers on spashley.com), and now I'll have to see end. It truly is sad that The-N is going to let a show like this go. It has changed so many people's lives, it has opened people's eyes and make them stop homophobia. This show is the only show out there, and I don't think that there will ever be a show like this. No matter what, if one day a show comes along like SoN, it will never be like it. It broke so many boundaries, and then some. We had to fight to get some PDA of Spashley on the show, and now we are going to fight to keep the show on air.

I'm 17 years old and I'm a lesbian. I love SON. I don't love it just becuase the two main characters are lesbians or bisexual I love the show because it is real and down to earth.I can't get enough of SON. When I watch an episode i can't wait until the next week to see a all new episode. If SON is cancelled I'm really going to be sad. I also watch Degrassi on the-n but if SON gets cancelled i really don't know if I'll watch the-n again. I'm really hoping that the show doesn't get cancelled because alot of fans are going to get disappointed. This show really means something to people. It also encourages alot of people to be open and comfortable about themselves. So this is my last chance to say PLEASE DON'T CANCEL SOUTH OF NOWHERE.

South of Nowhere is the only reason why i watch the-n. Before south of nowhere i was a little bitch with a narrow mind and since that show i've been very open minded to new people. There is no reason why this show should be taken off the air because it gets high ratings and is very popular ALL OVER THE WORLD!!. Its sad that its going to be cancelled especially when Spashley touched straight and gay people all over (mostly girls) but not the point. Im straight i and i love spashley with my whole heart and it sucks its getting cancelled.

Please don't take South of Nowhere off the air!! Its a great show for kids in their teenage years to find ways to tell their parents about their problems whetherthey be sexually or not this show gives these kids an opportunity to see that being gay is alright. And it can teach the parents as well as other kids that acceptance is a vital quality to have. PLEASE DON'T TAKE SON OFF THE-N!!!! I love this show! Please. Have a heart. We love this show!!!!

South of Nowhere has helped me accept myself for who I am (a bisexual teenage girl). Before I saw this show I thought I was crazy for questioning my sexuality. This is the only show with gay main charecters that is for teenagers. When I watch South it helps me remember that I'm not the only one going through this. Pleas, please, please SAVE SPASHLEY!!!!

Im 17 and have been with south of nowhere and spashley.com since it first started. Personaly, SON has just given me that happiness of turning on the tv and watching something i can relate to, but i know the importance of this show for the teens or even older women that are struggling with there sexuality. South of Nowhere has braught a lot of clarity to the lives of many women and especialy young women that were confused. From personal experience, i can also say it has opened the minds of people that were homophobic before watching, where as now theyre views on homosexuality is nothing but acceptance. You just have to understand the impact a show like this can have and has had on our generation. The N cant rely on Degrassi, it be ridiculous if they did. Paige and Alex can hook up as much as they want, but they dont have that love that Spencer and Ashley have. South of nowhere is a show you should want to have on The N. Its honestly a mistake to even think of ending it so soon.

Canceling a show that has helped so many people, in so many ways, is disgraceful. Not only are people going to be distraught by the cancellation, the message that the-n is sending by doing so is deplorable. I am shocked and appalled that a coming-of-age network, such as the-n, would even consider taking a show off of the air, especially without some closure. I am a 20-year-old girl who has struggled with sexual identity for a very long time. I also have a bisexual brother. The message that this show sends is that labels are probably the least important aspect of a person's life. I cannot stress how important this show is to people of all ages, and of all orientations.

Even though I am in the older demographic for South of Nowhere, this show has meant so much to me. I can only wish it was around when I was a teenager. I was so confused, lost, and in a great state of denial over who I was. Had there been a Spencer or Ashley on television then, I am certain I would have been more comfortable in my own skin. Being gay scared me. I was terrified of what my friends and family would think. Therefore, I suppressed it. I convinced myself that being gay was not who I was. I was a weaker Spencer. Had I been able to see a strong teenager come to terms with being gay, coming out, and falling in love, it could have changed so much. Now that I am out, and in love, I see so much of myself in the Spashley relationship. Even as a 22 year old, I get support and a sense of belonging from the show. It shows that being gay and in love is okay, and finally shows it in a positive light. Don't take a show that has made such a difference to so many people away.

I can't believe The-N would stoop this low to cancel a great show like SON, yet they would keep trash the likes of Degrassi and About a Girl. What are they thinking? Are they on crack? Don't pass that crack around, please, it's dangerous. I first started watching The-N BECAUSE of SON. SON drew me to the network because I said, "Wow, there's a really good network, they actually air a show about all this controversial subject matter!" Now that they've shown SON the door, we should show them the door too. You want to get rid of our favorite show? Fine. We'll get rid of you off our TV sets.

im 23, from australia, and i love south of nowhere. it was the first tv show that really looked into the world of being a young girl in love with another girl. awkward and intense and loving. and i appreciate these characters more than i have any other, because i look at spencer and i see the person i wish i could have been at sixteen. this show has been one of a kind, a real uniter and a real comfort to a lot of people. to take it away now would be unfair. season three was good to spashley fans, but deserting us now feels a bit like being left at the altar. the-n may feel we are all completely insane, but if they do they obviously have no idea how integral this show is or the force of its impact on people of many ages, male or female, straight or lgbt.

I guess you could say SoN affected my life through proxy. My junior year of HS (I'm a freshmen in college now) I was acquaintences with this straight girl and we would usually chat about degrassi and such, even though I was never really into it. When SoN premiered we were both REALLY hooked on it. Mind you, this girl was slightly homophobic, she was now completely open minded about my sexual orientation and we became closer friends through the show. When senior year of high school came and it came time to signing yearbooks she wrote to me about how I, with the help of SoN, helped her become more open-minded to the world around her and how she regretted being homophobic. Two years later, we're both good friends, and without a doubt SoN helped bring us close together. Now we can't stop making gay jokes together! Whether or not the show gets renewed, I'm happy we had a show like this for our generation.

"Not into labels." Ashley said it best with that phrase yet it seems all this show can do is get labeled as "that gay show." The-N is doing more than just making a huge mistake for themselves; they're sending a disgraceful statement that a loving gay relationship is somehow undeserving of equal air time. Everyone loves this show, and everyone ADORES Spashley. You don't have to be gay for this show to have made an impact on you and given you some understanding of the world. What happened to highly praised original content? The-N would rather kick it to the curb! Spashley and the fans deserve better.

I think we should mail compasses to The-N because there is a real message behind it. Of course, Barbie dolls are cool but what's the true meaning ? I think we got to show The-N that we love SON for more than superficial reasons. Plus, we could mail large quantities of compasses compared to Barbies !

My name is Anu Patel and I am a Spashley/SON Addict. Im a 16 year old female and I live in North Carolina. South of Nowhere is not only an awesome show to watch, but one to learn from as well. I would be in the "not into labels" type as Ashley put it ..so this show has helped me with coming to terms with myself. We shouldn't let this show be canceled because of all the things left to teach society and the great pillar of support it has given many people, not to mention the fact that it brought many people together from around the world that may have not conversed otherwise.

I'm 22 years old and I'm sooo disappointed by the news of South being cancelled. I think it's such a shame on the part of the network to NOW shy away from this AMAZING show and even greater cast. I have had the pleasure to meet so MANY amazing people through our love for this show. And you won't find a better show out there for young people questioning there sexuality. In my heart I don't feel like this show had done all it is meant to do, and that is the biggest kick in the teeth for me.

South of Nowhere has been the best thing for me as far as figuring out who I am. I had been denying the fact that I was gay for years, but seeing this show not only helped me confirm that I was, but accept that I was. I now know that there is nothing wrong with who I am. But I really couldn't of done it without South of Nowhere. I live in a very homophobic town and South was the only thing that made me feel good about who I am. Spencer and Ashley were the only people I could relate to. I honestly dont know what Im going to do without this show... and I'm really not just being a drama queen here. This show was a terrific helper to not only me, but so, so many people. The show doesnt only help people deal with being gay, but also teaches to accept people for who they are. It helps people deal with so many various problems that we deal with every day. For 30 minutes once a week, I felt like I was with people who understood me and cared. Don't take that away from me, and everyone else.

I'm a 19 year old female who's watched from day 1. South of Nowhere is the most amazing show you could ever watch. It's a break through show that's helped people (including me) in so many ways. Seeing how they can relate to someone, that they’re not the only one going through these things. Not just questioning yourself about sexual orientation, but also drug abuse, adoption, racism, school shootings, losing a loved one, teen pregnancy, how hard it is to just talk to your parents about anything, and so many more things. It's very hypocritical if you ask me. Degrassi has a lesbian couple and a gay couple, the only difference is South of Nowhere goes more into detail about the relationship, and it’s more realistic. Spencer and Ashley’s relationship didn't just fall out of the sky like Page and Alex. Canceling South of nowhere is the biggest mistake for the-n. South of Nowhere brought viewers to the-n, so what do they think will happen to the channel after SoN is gone? Smart move The-N

That is so fucking stupid. The show is like the 2nd best show on the end, and it has be recognize by GLAAD and other organizations and been nominated for pretty cool stuff. I love that there is a show about a gay couple on a network channel, not like on Showtime or HBO. The show even reflects more than just the struggles of being gay and finding yourself. I mean watching this show, help me figure out who I was and it appealed to me. I am so sick of watching fucking Degrassi all the time...its so annoying after while and its the same shit. Its been playing for 8 years, and I like watching something that's more...an impact on people and the gay community. Even I'm gay and it doesn't give a fake stereotypical relationship, it shows the ups and downs of a relationship that even a straight couple goes through. The N is so stupid. They have no idea how much an impact this show has made on its viewers, and it even gets good ratings too! Omg...they are dumb. Pisses me off...;=(

South of Nowhere is probably the most involved I've ever been with a tv show. But more than that, the fandom to me has played a huge role in my life. I've met some amazing people from all over the world who I can easily call good friends. It also helped me in more ways than just entertaining me. For the longest time I found it hard to come to terms with and feel comfortable with my sexuality, and though I don't credit South for helping me come out to those around me, it did help surround me with people who understood what I was going through and for that I am forever grateful. I'm sad The-N has decided to cancel this show, and I do wish for them to reconsider, but to me this site is about so much more than that. If we cannot save this show, at least we can get people to take notice so this doesn't happen in the future. Thanks for all your excellent work, guys. This site is amazing!

OK, as someone who is dealing with trying to figure out who I am, this show has been amazing. A lot of the things that Spencer has to go through with family and at school are things I've had to deal with myself in real life. This show is amazing for those who aren't quiet sure if they're gay straight or all of the above. It has real life problems that a lot of people face everyday. Even the straight kids that watch it can get an actual look at how it is for people that aren't straight and all the hard things they have to go through to make it through the day. When I first heard about this show and started watching it I was so excited because it was something I could easily relate to and it was something that was completely there for entertainmen, it has a message. The fact that The -N is thinking of cancelling this show is really devistating and since it's the only show i actually watch whenever it's on, on The-N, I guess i no longer have a reason to tune into that channel. It SUCKS!!

When I found out south of nowhere was being cancelled. I was close to tears. I hate it, that isn't fair...sure all programs have to end sometime, but not have sudden cancellations like these! This is like what hapenned to Clay in the drive-by shooting, THIS CANNOT HAPPEN TO SPASHLEY! Not only was it the only show I watched, but it was awesome, it could keep me sitting there foreverrrr. I love the show, It tought me to be brave, caring, friendly, and so many more things. Everything on SON could truly open your mind and say "whoah. that's so true!" I really hope we can save them, I know if SON is cancelled permanently, I won't be tuning in to the N anymore. so, let's SAVE SPASHLEY!!!!!!!! DON'T CANCEL SoN!!

So I'm gonna put my hand up and say that I'm an older South of Nowhere Fan. I'm Female, 28 yrs old and I live in Australia. I would say my sexual orientation is "Not into Labels" or bisexual, however you wanna call it. Now that's out of the way I want to say how devastated I am at the thought of South of Nowhere being canceled. If the-N decides to cancel the show then I do hope another network could pick it up. The show has done too much good for it to end now. At least if nothing else I want our voices to be heard and let everybody know that we will miss our favourite show. I'll miss you Spencer and Ashley. SAVE SPASHLEY!

it would be sooo dumb to cancel SON! part of its purpose is to open the eyes of our society and the other part is to give girls like spashley a show to relate to. unlike MTV shows who only have straight, hooking up, kind of relationships shown. my girl friend and i are very much in love and going strong. we like that SON shows the reality of an actual gay/bi relationship and shows the good and bad times we really do face. society these days needs a total reality check and SON could be the one to sign it off! so dont cancel!!!!!

south of nowhere was a show that delt with problems other shows don't deal with. it gave me courage to stand up for who i am. now i don't care what other people think of me. and watching that show just made me feel like i was in my own world. and now the-n is gonna cancel it? i don't see why. it got good rateings. just look at all these comments. wanting to bring it back.so whats the point? i'd like to see what will happen to there rateings if they do cancel it. i'd probably laugh and say "told ya so".

Ok so how many times have I heard that SON is going to be cancelled...hmm 3? now again!!! i mean come one guys, you put a show on, and you get all these ratings...but mostly you reach out to a large audience ranging from teens to adults and more? And yeah, I live in Miamia and being gay, lesbian or bis is pretty much normal here...yet being a hispanic girl growing up being taught as a catholic...it wasnt easy for me to just be like "hey guys im gay woo hoo!" watching south of nowhere made my heartrace and made my fears go...pfft. I finally related to someone that knew how i felt, SPENCER. and she taught me bravery and strentgh...and ashley is pretyy fierce and pretty. lol. but why take off a show that gives people courage and help those to not be afraid...that to me is just being a bit ignorant and hypocritical, Please understand how much a show like this helps, and trust me its not just entertaining its educative.

As a 17 year old 'not into labels' girl, South of Nowhere helped me accept the realization that people should be open to loving other people regardless of gender, race, background, etc. Love is love and everyone wants to give and receive love.

I will most definitely stop watching The-N if South of Nowhere gets canceled. I've really loved watching Ashley and Spencer's relationship evolve along with all the other issues the show deals with. In all likelyhood, I'll shoot myself in the head if the show doesn't return.

I still can't believe they are going to cancel South Of Nowhere. This show has helped a lot of people come out to their family and/or friends. It helped me have the courage to come out to my friends, and this is a HUGE mistake by The N. They will be losing a lot of ratings if South is canceled. This is a wonderful show with a great cast and I can't imagine not being able to see new episodes of South Of Nowhere. Something needs to be done!!!!!

South of Nowhere is hands down my favorite show. It has helped me discover who I am and accept that. Everybody has one show in their lifetime that they just connect with and arrange their entire schedule around watching it, and South of Nowhere is that show for me. Please don't cancel SON because it is not just entertainment for me; it is my encouragement to be my true self. I'm not hiding anymore, and I owe that all to South of Nowhere.

Im in my 30's and straight and I love this show. For this genaration of teens it has a great message and it show them what its like to be a gay or lesbian teens and what they go though.I think it also teaches how to be accepting of gay&lesbian teens.I started watching this show 2 years ago and iv loved it ever since.I will thank The-N for having the guts to put this show on air but, with that being said they r making BIG mistakein cancelling this show.I guess they just don't how much this has helped people young and old.So I'm down to do whatever it takes to keep this wonderful show on air(it not the-n maybe Logo could put this show up) SAVE S.O.N

South of Nowhere is more then a show to many people out there including me. This show helped me come to terms with who I am and come out to my family and friends. The N let such potential slip through their fingers, but hopefully another network will realize just how great this show is and will give South a fair chance.

if it wasn't for South of nowhere i wouldn't of ever had the curage to come out. also i signed on to the-N because of South of nowhere. also all honesty if it wasn't for south of nowhere i would of never signed up for the-N and meet my loving girlfriend who i do have to say is a dream come true. i come home everynight just to watch SON and nothing else i even wish it was on DVD so i could watch it more. when i watch spencer i see me. this is the only show i have ever been hooked on and if it cancels i'll be crushed. watching south of nowhere is helping me understand a lot about myself. i know i may come off as some crazied fan but this is the only show that i ever really learned from. i really don't think i would ever watch the-N again if south of nowhere is canceled. it really helps alot of young teen and all honesty i'm 21 and my girlfriend is 19 and we been together over a year. i'm really happy that for once in my life i can say that other then my girlfriend that this show has helped be feel more confuable in my body. i'm finaly proud to say i\'m a lesbian. Alright so when i first heard about south being cancelled i prayed that it was a horrible joke. im pretty sure that i even shed some tears. I absolutely cant understand why the N would take away such an amazing and life changing show. I will not be watching the-N after south is over. There would be no point. I loved south it was my favorite tv show and practically the only thing i talked about. Yes i am 100% addicted to this show and like i said before as soon as it is over so is my viewing the N. i really hope and want this to change. I dont want to see such an amazing show get taken off the air after only three seaons. South desrves better than that and the crap The-n was giving them. And by crap i mean it hardly ever getting played yet degrassi which isnt an N original getting played like 24/7 it is like repulsing how much they play that show. So goodbye the-n. Bring back my favorite show and ill come back but until then good luck with your ratings when you lose all your veiwers.

I am so disappointed in the-n. If South of Nowhere is taken off the air then i'll protest by not watching the-n( and of course trying to get south of nowhere back by doing all of the things recommended on this site) but anyways.. When i first heard about SON, i thought 'oh, they probably wont go indepth about girl relationships'. Yes, i was completely wrong.. i fell in love with this show from the minute the first episode was aired. The fact that there is a show like this directed at teenagers, it's groundbreaking..This show without a doubt helped several others, including myself, in opening up about sexuality or even helping people become open minded. There is a lot more to the show than sexuality, it is less annoying(drama wise) than degrassi and is more realistic. So..by ending this show, the-n are not only putting amazing actresses/actors out of work but they are also taking away a show that has opened eyes, hearts, and minds. I'm confident that all SON fans will win this war.

They CANT cancel SoN!! This show is my life!! Im a 16 year, bisexual, girl. This show actually helped me and my mother to understand each other better and accept the feelings the other one has. Without this show I'd be a depressed, insane girl never getting along with my mother. To sit down every Friday night and watch them struggle with issues that exist in the real world that we face brought us colser and really solved a lot of our problems in a weird way. Im sure there are so many people out there who have watched this show and became a better person, took some big steps, and made some big changes in their life that they couldnt have done without it. Please dont take this show away from helping people and giving them the courage to walk with their head held high no matter who they are!!!! We need SoN!!!! Feel free anybody to contact me:Smexyfairy@aol.com. *Cassie W*
