The time is now, guys.  The-N has officially announced the cancellation of South of Nowhere through their official blog, the N’sider and we’re not going to take it lying down.  This is the moment we’ve been waiting for, folks.  The time to act is NOW! Announcing the We Can Go Anywhere Campaign!

We’re going to do our best to absolutely BOMBARD the-N’s programming department with as many compasses as we can!  Why compasses?  Let’s see – It’s SOUTH of Nowhere.  It’s not where you’ve been, it’s where you’re going.  And because if the-N wants to squander the dedicated fans it has, we need to tell them that if they don’t want us, we can go anywhere!

Everyone is in a different situation, so we’ve tried to come up with variations on our plan so you can find the one that fits you the best.

Option 1:  Buy Your Own Compasses Online

You can buy compasses many different ways.  The best way is to buy the little, cheap plastic compasses wholesale or in bulk so you can send a TON at one time.  You can do this online pretty easily.  Remember, when you buy bulk, the more you get, the cheaper they cost:

Buy some online, get them sent to your house.  Write some letters or messages to go with them that explains what you’re sending (Spashley quotes, postcards, thoughts, testimonials – be creative!) and stick each letter in an envelope along with a bunch of compasses and mail everything to the-N! (See below)

Remember: The more packages the N receives, the more of an impact we’ll have!  Order a TON of compasses, but split them up into numerous letters!  Be creative with this, guys!  There’s a lot you can do!  Also, post your ideas for messages in the guestbook of this forum along with how many letters you sent!  Numbers are critical and we’re trying to keep track of who’s taking part!

Option 2:  Buy Your Compass In the Store

Let’s say you don’t have a credit card and need to buy compasses in the store.  For cheap novelty ones (like the ones shown above) try the dollar store.  For cheap camping compasses, try stores like Kmart and Target.

I can guarantee that both Toys ‘R Us and Walmart both carry camping compasses!  So do most Sears!  They’re more like $5 each, though, so you might only be able to afford one to send in.  That doesn’t matter!  Just make sure you make the note that you stick in extra-special.  Handwrite something heartfelt or make a piece of spashley fanart and stick it in.  Again, be creative; just let them know you’re doing this for SoN.  Send your compass to the same address mentioned below.

If you have to, even print out a PICTURE of a compass and mail it in!   Whatever you can do will be helpful.

Option 3:  Donate to Our Compass Drive!

You might have noticed the donate button that’s been added to the site.  It’s so you can donate money via Paypal to the massive amount of compasses that the www.savespashley.com team is going to send out.  This isn’t the best option, because we want to have as many separate packages sent out as possible, but it’s a great option for international fans or fans that can’t participate for other reasons.

Mailing Directions

We want you to BUY compasses from FRIDAY FEBRUARY 29^th until THURSDAY MARCH 6^th! 

Work on your message if you get them early and get them ready to go.

We want you to MAIL your compasses on: MARCH 7, then every Friday after that for 7 weeks.

This way, we’ll have MAXIMUM impact when they all pour into the mail room at once.
