Comment by GUEST on 2008-02-29 14:10:22 Yes, remember that Tom Lynch has the power to move this show to another network. We should show him that we will all take our loyalty to any network that chooses to air SoN.
The fact that the show comes with a pre-existing fan base, will be a big selling tool for Mr. Lynch, as he talks to other networks. He needs to know we are behind him.

Comment by GUEST on 2008-03-01 04:00:31 South of Nowhere is needed by the many gay teenagers who need to see themselves portrayed positively in the media for once. It also deals with other issues that teenagers may need answers to. I may not be the targeted demographic for this show, but I am a loyal fan and there are no other shows on this network worth watching! PLEASE save this show. When I was in high school there were no positive gay role models on t.v. or otherwise. Please do not do a diservice to everyone who follows and loves this show by cancelling it.
Comment by GUEST on 2008-03-01 20:19:52 Shouldn't we also talk to other networks to try and get them to pick up the series if The-N doesn't bring it back? Since we have a fan base I think that it would be a good idea to make sure we aren't just talking to The-N and Tom Lynch.
Comment by GUEST on 2008-03-03 13:35:31 Okay The L Word...Queer as Folk..... do theese shows ring a bell? Sure right... theese shows mean a lot in the gay community....theese are shows for gay adults...
But what about gay teenagers and gay young adults....or sexually confused kids....what about high school students...who are dealing with they're sexuality...its like 2008 and tv puts a impact on peoples lives espically in the country were living in!!!! Which leads me to think...okay so we have theese shows that were suppose to try and relate to...cool...queer as folk....and The L Word... But theese shows are great yeah but the main characters are gay adults who have jobs and careers and are starting families... If your a kid...espically a gay kid...how ru gonna relate....I mean sure wow the only thing when your a teenager you have in common with theese characters are the simple fact your both gay!
Now here's a show on a totally different level!!! South of Nowhere! A show kids can relate to... a show where you can pick a character and be like wow she's kinda like me...I can Relate to what she's going threw! For the simple fact that i'm going threw it right now!!!
South of Nowhere is a show about high school! About a girl who is at first sexually confused and then later finds out she's in love with her bestfriend....its a classic love story...except its girl meets girl....Its a show that tells you its okay to be different its okay to feel confused.... and who the hell needs to put labels on love....
So!!! We need to keep this show on the air....what else are kids suppose to relate to...I mean they're are a lot of shows out there...that have gay main characters...but none of them are like me...I can't relate to a single character on any of thoose shows for the fact that i'm 18! I haven't expierenced what they have yet....but with South of Nowhere...I most certianly can relate and I don't feel as if i'm going threw it alone...because at least one of the people on the show are going threw the same thing as me..so on a certain extent we are going threw it together....
This show really really needs to be kept on the air!!! Kids need self assurance kids need to know that its okay.....

Comment by luvSON on 2008-03-05 17:10:00 TOM,
Hi, i'm from latin america, i'm such a huge fan of the serie South of Nowhere and i'm following it by mtvla...i'm really upset and so sad because of the cancel news and because South of Nowhere is the only show I can relate to in anyway. I am 19 years old and coping with confusion and difficulties in life and south is a sort of therapy for me to help me understand and feel as though I am not on my own with my feelings. South helps people to open their mind and to recognize that there are people out there that need to be understand and love and not judge only because their sexuality, religion, etc...and this is something that people need to learn, we need to help others to start to change their mind, their wrong point of view about those kind of subjects that South of Nowhere try to teach us. I don't normally watch teen shows but South in my opinion is the most true to life show I have ever seen. The actors and story lines are so amazingly real. South of Nowhere has changed my life for the better. It has taught me and many others so many things about life and how to deal with it. Every character is relatable to everyone in some way, and that is what makes this show so great. With out South many teens and adults alike, like myself will once again have nowhere to turn when feeling alone, or different. I am still unsure about my feelings and dealing with hurt and confusion, but with South of Nowhere it helps me to realize that others feel the same as I do, and it helps more than anything to know that. South of Nowhere deserves to stay on the air because of it touches people and shows realities of everyday life like no other show does. People turn to South to cope and it has helped myself and many others to have a better understanding of life.
Thanks.
Comment by GUEST on 2008-03-08 16:53:57 I am not gay and I watch the show. Even though it has meaning I also watch it because it is entertaining. We need this show, a long with the others that they have already attempted to cancel. If they are looking for a younger audience they are being very stupid about it. The shows that they show like Zoey 101 and Unfabulous have poor acting and are fads. Younger kinds go through fads and they are not going to be able to sustain an attention span for long enough they show stick with what is good. The -n is ours why are they trying to take it away from us.
Comment by SquareHead213 on 2008-05-19 07:56:22 Everyone can relate to south of nowhere. It was a show that reached out to thousands of teenagers and helped overcome fear. If you take this show off, not only will the GLBT community be affected but many others will not know what to rely on.
--This show has even made a difference on me and to have it gone after such a short time, it will definetly leave many questions unanswered. Just to think of a show being put off like it made no difference made me quiever. the answer is: WE NEED MORE SHOWS LIKE SOUTH OF NOWHERE!

Comment by GUEST on 2008-06-20 23:44:30 If The- N doesn't want South of Nowhere there are other options WE (womens entertainment) might want it or you could go to an up and coming network that needs viewership. My Network TV, or a bigger channel like SOAP. SON's not an soap opera, but whatever it takes to keep it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by GUEST on 2008-06-22 18:22:52 South of Nowhere is one of the most influential shows on TV right now and it seems pointless to cancel a show that helps educates people. I will not watch the N if there are they the (producers) are so gun ho about cancelling the SON. Please Mr. Lynch keep it on you have an audience of all ages attention know other show has accomplished what you have through this show. If some concerns are of whats being viewed put it on at a later time but keep educating. thank you a dedicated fan......all ages attention know other show has accomplished what you have through this show. If some concerns are of whats being viewed put it on at a later time but keep educating. thank you
Comment by GUEST on 2008-06-22 18:34:05 Mr Lynch Reading the outpour of cries that fans of South of Nowhere has continued making on keeping what seems to be a powerful show what sense does it make to cancel a show that is so obvious has much importantance. I believe television today has alot of nonsense which not much of a reality to real life situations. Myself a viewer of the show finally television producers gotten it right television now makes sense pleasing viewing audience. Mr Lynch the N not the only network who not ashame to show the real meaning of love between partners if the N dont want it move it but PLEASE DON"T CANCEL IT!!!! YOU HAVE THE POWER MR THOMAS LYNCH SHOW THE N
