First things first, clicky here to download 316, It's a pretty big file, so I hope those connections are up to it! Second, Mandy Musgrave braved another chat with Seth and Mary, click to listen. Third, the votes are in for South's 'Moments to Remember,' check out the compilation I made below. It's full of Spashley goodness, including the longest (and hottest) Spashley kiss ever recorded, and Spencer's trenchcoat moment! Click the article title to see those and extras clips from the episode ...
How many times did you replay those?! Now, onto the ep itself, I have to say, as a die-hard Spashley girl, I loved this episode. It was just very well done, and the perfect end. Well, not so perfect, since I'm greedy and want more. If I had my way, Gabrielle and Mandy would be playing Spashley when they're eighty! But, since that's unlikely, I'm more than happy with what we got. Outside of Spashley, my only grievance is poor old Glen got kicked to the curb and he never saw the awesomeness that was Kyla. I always liked the idea of them getting together. It works people, think about it! While I'm on it, Sean and Chelsea needed to happen, I just sensed something there, maybe there was history there we never got to see? Soeaking of unseen histories, something had to have gone on with former BFF's and now two-woman music machine Madison and Ashley (don't ask me why, but as such as a wrote 'machine' this came into my head. Oh the subtext!) I better stop with the musing, before I get into even stranger pairing possibilities! This week's extras playlist includes the two post-316 webisodes, 'A Day Later,' and 'Five Years Later.' Both of which are as chessy as Gorgonzola, but they're also very, very cute. The second, fan-written webisode could possibly contain more kisses per minute than the rest of South of Nowhere's seasons combined (with the exception of the 'woah, they made out during the commerrcial' 301-302 crossover kiss). I think we need to do some extensive research! After that, there are two retrospective clips. In the first, 'Cast Predictions,' the cast and Tom Lynch gaze into a shiny crystal ball and muse what's next for our favourite gang. My favourite answers come from Maeve and Aasha - doctoring in exotic lands, and possibly dabbling in some girl-on-girl respectively! Personally, I vote for a web-based college spin off, stat! 20 mins, 13 eps, every Friday with a miniscule 3-month hiatus. I'm thinking an interactive experience, part fan-funded (you know you would!), where we could suggest plot - and, yes, I do me people other than Spashley! - but, remember the beauty of the internets fellow Southers, way less restricted than TV, you've seen 3Way after all ... Whose with me?! Yes, I was sneakily distracting you all frolm the final clip/retrospective where Gabrielle, Mandy and Matt say their goodbyes and send us some love! They love us as much as we love them *sniff* Stay Strong Spashley lovers!

IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!! AND IT'S THE ONLY SERIES THAT UNDERSTANDS WHAT GAY PEOPLE FEELS!!!!! I HATE this!!!!! Im crying this moment because of anger and sadness!!!!! I HATE IT!!! I want it to continue!!!! ~ SPASHLEY 4EVER!!!!! *crying* | Comment by spashleyfan1995 on 2009-09-05 07:09:27 I can't believe the show got canceled over mainly discrmination against gay people! Look at how our world is today over fear, parents don't understand what love is, what the meaning is. When I discovered this show, it touched my heart. I only watch SON because of Spencer and Ashley and the love they shared. I been gay over since I was born, the show had NOTHING to make me gay, NOTHING. You can't make a person gay, who would choose that choice? Who would choose a choice that can make their lives a whole lot harder? So here I am, speaking the truth behind the act of fear, the show should continue. Why should it continue you ask? Because this show made me feel better about my homosexuality, it made me feel accepted. It gave me warmth in my heart but now that's gone. I'm not happy about it. I'm going to give a example of a show that got cancelled because of fear and people thinking it "brainwashed" kids. Ever heard of the Ellen Degeneres Show? On the fourth season of her show in 1997, Ellen Degeneres came out publicy as a lesbain. Her show canceled afterwards. It canceled the same reason SON canceled because of fear of cruely. Five years later in 2005, Ellen got her show back, people started to realize that there was so much more to that show than her sexuality. From this day, I hope to that to happen and SON comes back. I hope this comment helps. One more time I speak the truth, You can't make people gay, your born gay or straight..that's it. It's not one's fault or influence the way you were made or are today. | Comment by spashleyfan1995 on 2009-09-05 07:10:30 I can't believe the show got canceled over mainly discrmination against gay people! It's not like SON made a accountment to be gay! The reason why this show is so good..is because many homosexual teens are confused about what they are and their to afraid to talk to their parents about it or they have no one to talk to at all! This show in a few espidoes, talked about how do you know if your gay and what do you do when you are. That helped me and many other people out with handleing their sexuality. I know the people that caused SON to be cancelled are all religous and don't understand homosexuality. They don't understand because they think being gay have to do with being influneced to be, so when they found out about this show..they thought it was "brainwashing" kids. NOT TRUE! People are born and made the way they are today, Nothing can change that. None of those people probably watched a whole season of the show to know what it was all about! So if any of the mangers or co-stars of the show read this, please don't end this show! It's a amazing show! Don't let fear take over you, do what you think is right. SAVE SPASHLEY!! | Comment by Grace on 2009-10-05 04:27:29 such thing shouldn't have happened in the US, a country calls for freedom and equality. I am really disappointed on learning this news, really. | Please login or register to add comments |
