Today is the day, Spash fans.  The bittersweet moment, along with a post I've never wanted to write.  Alas, here it is.

It's a day of mixed emotions for us all, but, hang in there OK.  There are many avenues of dicussion if you need to. Feel free to leave comments and thoughts below if you'd like to.  It's important to express how you're feeling today.  Even if you think it's silly, it's not.

Back to business ...

Tune in tonight at 8 pm (ET) for a whole hour of South to see how it all plays out, plus, the two post 316 webisodes will (hopefully) be on The Click after the episode airs.  If you miss the first airing you can catch it later on at 11 pm (ET) and, if you're still awake, at 2:30 am (ET).

The airing schedule over the weekend looks like this:  314-316, runs from 12 pm 'til 2pm (ET) on Saturday, December 13.  On Sunday, December 14, ep 316 gets another airing at 12 pm (ET). For details of more reruns into next week, check out The N's schedule.

On a lighter note, Afterllen have given us a bunch of South goodness to mark the day wiith:

Firstly, Dara posted her interview with the lovely Miss Musgrave, click here to read and comment to show Dara and Mandy some love.

Secondly, Jenn and Dee give us their recap on Taking Seconds.  Comment back and tell them of their awesomeness!

Last but not least, Gabrielle and Maeve are among the contributors to a new GLAAD PSA, click here to watch it.

Since I'm writing this post, I'd like to say a little bit, since it seems today is a lot about reflection.

My time working for SaveSpashley has been overwhelming, surprising, sometimes very difficult, and sometimes, like today, it's incredibly sad.  It's been a long journey since we found out about the cancellation, but I can honestly say whatever coimes next for the show or the completely awesome cast and crew that bought it to life, I'm glad I was a part of this.  Most of all, I'm glad of the support we received from you guys.  Some days, it's no lie to say that's all that kept us going.

If you're still reading this, thank you.

No, thank you! and thank everyone who has participated in the save spashley campaign, especially you and others who worked so hard on the website and keeping all of us updated on this show that has changed our lives.
Its not often that people become so attached to a show, particularly the characters, and even the actors. but with south of nowhere...we have all made these characters and real life actors a part of our hearts forever. This show may be cancelled and even if there is nothing further we can do to save the actual show...the show will never actually die. As long as we keep spreading the spashley love...generations to come will have spashley and south of nowhere to help them through just as it helped all of us.
today is a bittersweet day...mixed emotions for sure. You never know what the future holds...fortunately i know that whatever happens...i'll always have a bit of spashley with me.
again...thank you save spashley crew for all you've done! and thank you south of nowhere for changing my life.

Yes thank you all so much for bringing save spashley to life. It helped to connect us all and bring us together for the love of a show that will never die. It will live on in my heart and mind always. It's a part of me forever. It has changed me so much, for the better, helping me to accept myself. I don't think there will ever be such a great show made, something that can help so many people out, no matter their age or sexual preference. I'm sure we will all hold it in our hearts for years and years to come. Thank you so much.

I'm really sad. I cried all night after watching the episode. I still can't believe it. I'm devastated. A don't have more words right now, just tears. Thank you very much for all you've done. Thanks for creating Save Spashley. Thanks Tom Lynch for creating South Of Nowhere and changing my life. I wanna believe there's still a chance that this isn't over yet.

Thanks for the comments guys, all of us really appreciate it :)

I know it's tough, but hang in there. I'll be doing another clips post on Monday as usual, just to round off the Spashley goodness with what The N has uploaded.

Indeed its awfull that this beautiful story has come to an end, and i also cried when i saw the last episode. Thanks to all the savespashley team, we will always have the spirit of the spashley love in our hearts, even though its so hard to wake up every morning and realize that we won't be following such an incredible serie. Oh well, too bad i didn't see the last webisode which Gabrielle described as weird, i truelly hope you will be able to post it on savespashley , because i really want to see that last webepisode, since we don't have TheN here.
Anyways thanks for creating South, and for helping us be who we are, love spashley for ever, and wish a successful futur for the actors, ciao!!!
