Getting more viewers is a tough thing when it doesn't air that much, but embedding scenes wherever you think people will see it and pay attention or on profiles. Popular blogs are a great idea. If we can get on the postsecret blog, sunday secrets that would attract thousands if not millions of people into at least finding out what south is. Also the postsecret forum. Forums are a great way to reach tons of people.

I feel that the-n is making a really big mistake cancelling SON because that right there after the episodes are done airing may go a lot of their viewership... we only have 40 days left until the premiere episode if it displays on sept. 5th [ god forbid they push it back again]] but its been forever, because I've been watching the show since I was 15 now im almost 19 and they still havent gotten through the third season and it pisses me off. However, degrassi is a popular show, but i hate it with the younger cast now, because they did attempt the degrassi episodes back in the 80s as well. Im not a type for repeats or copies of any kind. This slow has touched lives and has had helped me through personal issues, and i can say as i watch an episode of SON i feel okay to just forget about what happened.... they need to release it on dvd so it can be available in all countries, not a select few such as the US, Canada or France. we have people of all ages and different pathways of life to sit down and watch the show. I can now say that a lot can happen in just 24 min., because of this show, people's lives have changed for the better.
FYI: to those who have not seen all the episodes from season 1- season 3a can go to http://www.surfthechannel.com/show/television/South_of_Nowhere.html to get their fix of south of nowhere until the premiere arrives. but i seriously hope that the link helps all of you, instead of going to youtube and other sites as well, because this took me about a half a week of finding after going through page after page of searching... ~1~

I was just introduced to the show and am now officially obsessed. I watched a youtube video of the cast and you, i think, at a conference. You mentioned something about Chad Michael Murray and One Tree Hill. Well untill i found out about S.O.N. that was my all time favorite show that i still watch religiously all the time!!! I think if you added bigger actors or actress' you could attract more viewers! This show is already perfect in soooo many ways! It sends the best message possible. Which is why i think that it's B.S. that the-n wants to appeal to a younger crowd! They already have Disney and Nick and Cartoon network shows. All they're going to do is show repeats of all those shows like Hannah montana.
I know this show has helped me and so many other S.B.G. people out their. Save SPASHLEY! Save S.O.N.

I am a lesbian in my forties but no one knows that. There weren't shows like this when I was growing up. I am a successful professional who is alone. SON made my lifelong depression better, but after hearing it is going away, the depression has returned. This show may be about teenagers, but the lessons and compassion are for all of us. I'm sure the entire cast has moved on, and even if it were to get picked up on another network, I don't know if they would be able to do it. It's really sad, he only needed 2 more seasons.
