Since beginning in November of 2005, South of Nowhere has steadily grained a large number of international fans. Just three years later, the network announced that the show had been cancelled. To some, this is just another teen show to others it is a lifeline that has been prematurely severed.

This petition has been created for non-American fans to sign, and show their support for a show that has crossed as many social boundaries as it has geographical ones.

South of Nowhere has been part of my life for three years and from the very start it has helped understand a lot of thing that has been going on, but this past few day we(fans) has heard of a very upsetting and sad news about the show getting cancelled and I as loyal fan of the show has been really shock and upset about the network not renewing it, the show SOUTH OF NOWHERE has reached a lot of people who are going through the same situation as the characters on the show, SON has been real from the very start, It has been personally the only show that has helped me with the situations that I had been going through and it is unfair that the Network that created this amazing show is letting it go, and we fans want to save it, South of Nowhere has a potential to be on top, I love South of Nowhere and I am as one of the thousand of fans out there asking for the renewal of this show......SAVES SPASHLEY

South of Nowhere is The-N's second top rated show. It touches on details that most shows do not go into such as racism, teen pregnancy, and most of all homosexuality. It has came to our attention that South of Nowhere is being canceled for being a "risky" show. We saw this coming, didn't we? Ever since the homosexual relationship between Spencer and Ashley flamed in Season 2, the network has been trying to cancel the show. This petition is to keep South of Nowhere on The-N or have a different channel pick it up. It is a shame that The-N would cancel such an amazing show that did cross such a boundary, but helped teens all at the same time. If the cancelation does continue, The-N will lose many viewers. "South of Nowhere" is a well written, powerfully acted show that deserves to be on DVD. This show is helping to break the stereotypes, and boundaries set by the closed mindedness of society.
